Update on the Waterphone, knock offs and me.

I am not sure if this will be my last year making musical instruments or not. I also have a painting career that I need to tend to and time grows short.
A few words about all the knock offs of my invention the Waterphone: I have yet to hear one that sounds well tuned and the materials used in the knock offs are questionable. The worst ones are the ones being sold on EBay and the Chinese version called the "Ocean Harp" imported by "Lark in the Morning". If you are just after the water sound and really don't care if you are purchasing well made, tuned Waterphone then buy one of the knock offs but if you want a Waterphone which is a musical instrument that has minimum conflict in the tones and is well made out of prime materials you might want to consider one of my 3 models before I stop making them. As the inventor who has been developing and making Waterphones for over 40 years, this is a life work for me whereas for those doing the knock offs it is a way of making money. My instruments continue to increase in value whereas this cannot be said about the knock offs. Yes, my Waterphones cost more than the knock offs but they are worth it. Take a look at the >Quotes< section of this web site and read what others have said both about my Waterphones and the knock offs.
